Elise is an excellent listener, motivator and communicator. She has guided me with 2 different roles within my organization, helping me to stay focused on the advantages instead of the difficulties. My presentation and business development skills are much improved because of her. Her sessions provided lots of positive reinforcement and a framework to help me identify the changes I needed to make.    As a result, I now feel calmer about my current job and excited about what is out there.   It was truly a pleasure to work with her in a very important time in my life.

The Journey

Let’s start at the beginning.  What had been going on in my life before working with Elise was what some would call hitting rock bottom.  I had been working diligently through-out most my life to create a life I enjoyed living.  To all other’s accounts I was defined as a success.  Like many of us with time and experience comes cycles of behavior we learn to recognize as patterns.  I had noticed at this point in time I was back “here again”.  I was ready to get some help and Elise was refereed to me by someone I knew, so I called and made my first appointment. 

Elise helped me to define this “here again” state and what beliefs, feelings, emotions, and behavior lead me to this “here again” place.  Once defined, Elise offered tangible tools, assignments, and exercises to use in my daily life to shift out of this “here again” situation.  She worked at whichever level I was at and setup plans of action that allowed me to see and feel true change inside myself and my interactions with others.  Because of our work together I am not in that “here again” place.  I loved one of Elise’s jewels of wisdom, relating coaching to how a physical therapist evaluates the patient and then gives exercises to do between visits, then they help to evaluate the physical progress and adjust accordingly.  Elise helped to tailor our sessions to meet my needs, which allowed me the time and space to get the “biggest bang for my buck” or reps (to keep the exercise theme going).  I can truly say that I am in the driver’s seat creating the life I enjoy living thanks to Elise and here amazing coaching skills.
